It  provides a headquarters for Dress for Success Southern Nevada’s mentoring program that pairs clients with mentors who offer guidance and support through one-on-one interaction and group meetings. Ultimately, the mentoring program seeks to strengthen and enhance participants’ professional development by cultivating stable relationships and increasing self-confidence.

At the opening dedication ceremony in 2014, Executive Director of Dress for Success Southern Nevada, Paula Lawrence, said, “Our new career center is not only more functional but also warm and inviting, where the women feel at ease.” She added that a special inspirational art wall was created by the Gensler Design team and “pays homage to the threads that we wear, the threads that are donated to the boutique, and the threads that bind us to each other.”
